Funeral services for Rex Bryan Henson, 53, of Rusk will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 17, 2022 at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home with Pastor Keith Hassell officiating. Mr. Henson passed away at home on March 10, 2022. He was born May 26, 1968 in Midwest City, OK to Waynette Miles and Mike Henson. He was a member of Grace Fellowship in Rusk. He enjoyed mowing, being around horses, cooking and famous for his ham and crawfish boils, and loved spending time with his family. His pride and joy were his grandchildren and had many unofficial family members. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Wayne and Mary Ellen Abbott, John and Louise Henson, mother-in-law Margie Ebanez, son Justin Bryan Henson, and granddaughter Julianna “Ladybug” Jade Maciel, and sister Dawn Michelle Henson. He is survived by his wife of 23 years Helen Elizabeth Henson of Rusk, children Nathaniel Shane Henson of Oklahoma, Amanda Ebanez and her significant other Jesse Maciel of Jacksonville, Troy and Ellie Holloway of Harleton, Mark Anthony Henson of Rusk, grandchildren Kayanna “Tooterbug” Elizabeth Maciel, Logan “Squirrel” James Holloway, mother and step-father Waynette and Thomas Miles, father and step-mother Mike and Bridgett Henson, brothers John and Cheryl Henson of Longview, Brad and Shelly Henson of Frankston, brother-in law Pete and Starlette Ebanez, sisters-in-law Rebecca and Abel Villanueva, Tina Ebanez, and Linda Ebanez, step-brother Brian Courtney, step-sisters Barbara Miles, Rose Miles, Starlett Miles, and Valarie Courtney, nieces Haley Henson, Connie and Brock Shelton, Taylor and Larry Lancaster, Candace and David Okun, Charis and Cody Leuschner, Katherine Henson, and Elizabeth Henson, nephews Koby and Megan Henson, Wes and Sarah Henson, Stephen Henson, William Henson, and Justin Ebanez. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at the funeral home.
