Nancy Hudson
June 12, 1942 - May 8, 2015
Nancy Hudson 1942-2015 Nancy Diane Hudson was born in McAllen in 1942 and raised in Harlingen. She lived in states across the U.S. for 16 years before returning to her beloved Texas and making her home in Rusk, where she died quietly on May 8. As co-owner and operator of Thunder Mountain Speedway and Hudson Brothers Mining and as an enthusiastic volunteer for CASA she changed both lives and landscapes. She will be deeply missed by her daughters Susan and Diana, her grandchildren Danny, Robert and Elizabeth Welch and Matt and Grant Pointon, her brother David Espenlaub and his family, her Son-in-law Larry Welch, her dear companion Troy Burris and his family, and a host of wonderful friends and neighbors. She will be memorialized with a private graveside service; donations in her memory to CASA of Trinity Valley will continue her work in behalf of the children of this region.
