Graveside services for Justine M. Carrington, age 88, of Rusk are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 23, 2011 in Cedar Hill Cemetery with Rev. Stephen Duyka officiating under the direction of Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Rusk. Mrs. Carrington died December 20, 2011 in a Tyler Hospice. She was born September 6, 1923 in Detroit Michigan to the late Stanley and Stella Guest. Mrs. Carrington was a resident of Rusk 23 years and a 27 year resident of Emerald Bay. She lived at The Hamptons in Tyler for the last 5 years where she left many good friends. Mrs. Carrington was Catholic and a homemaker. Preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Carrington in 1986. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Bruce Stovall of Rusk, Linda and Larry Moody of Rusk, son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Cindy Carrington of Whitehouse, brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Florence Guest of Chatsworth, California, sister, Lorraine Slater of Beseda, California, six grandchildren, five great grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. up until service time, Friday, December 23, 2011 at the funeral home.
