Jake Templin Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Funeral Services for Jake Templin, 76, of Arlington, Texas will be 2:00p.m., Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Wallace Thompson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jamie Hogan officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Maydelle, Texas. Mr. Templin was born June 27, 1940 in Lewisville, Texas to the late Thomas and Ada Templin. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1957 to 1961. He spent his life serving others; he was a Mason and a member of the 32nd Degree Scottish Rites. He was also a Coca Cola collector and a frequent visitor to Whataburger. He is preceded in death by his wife, Myritta "Lusk" Templin, Brothers, Jack Templin, Ralph Templin, sisters, Aileen Cook, Pauline Henry, and grandsons, AJ and Cobin Frazier. He is survived by his daughter, Adalinda Ford, Arlington, TX, son, Kevin Templin, Hurst, TX, grandchildren, Jennifer Clark, Bryan Stewart, Brittany Hickman, Leslee Lamb, Britney Crowe, Randy "Bozy" Wilbanks, Bailey Templin, 14 great-grandchildren, brother, Sonny Templin, sister Evelyn Holt, and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Michael Willard, Bill Sword, David Lusk, Trent Stewart, Roger Stewart, and Danial Plummer. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 11, 2016 at the funeral home.
