Funeral services for Audie Marie Williams, age 93, of Rusk are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 25, 2014 in Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Copeland officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Rusk. Mrs. Williams passed away January 23, 2014 in a Jacksonville hospital. She was born June 26, 1920 in Pennington, TX to the late Bryant and Lela Ray. Mrs. Williams was a lifelong resident of Rusk and a member of First Baptist Church in Rusk. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elray Williams, two sisters, Janice Lawrence, Juanita Wagoner, two brothers, Hayne Ray, Wayne Ray. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, John Bryant and Sue Williams of Rusk, two daughters and son-in-law, Linda and Gary Starkey of Rusk, Carolyn Broach of Rusk, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, sister, Delores Copeland of Crockett, TX, several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation.
